DINI C. TOBING-PANGGABEAN is an Advocate & Registered IP Attorney

Prior to establishing her own firm in 2008, she amassed extensive experience at a prominent IP law firm, including a notable tenure at LUBIS, SANTOSA & MARAMIS Law Firm (formerly LUBIS, SANTOSA & MAULANA Law Firm), where she played an integral role in various facets of Intellectual Property (IP) law. Her expertise spans the protection of trademarks, patents, industrial designs, and copyrights, alongside robust involvement in IP enforcement and litigation.

Throughout her career, she has prepared numerous patent applications, trademark/service mark, industrial designs, and copyrights registrations both domestically and internationally for a diverse client across various industries. Her responsibilities have also encompassed the drafting and review of license agreements, preparation of cease and desist letters, and representation in oppositions, counter-oppositions, and appeals before Trademark/Service Marks Appeal Commissions.

With over three decades of experience in IP litigation, she has successfully represented a spectrum of clients, including leading global companies. Her litigation portfolio includes landmark cases in trademark infringement, cancellation, and industrial design disputes for multinational corporations spanning industries such as tires, publishing, cosmetics, chain saws, food products, home appliances, fertilizers, apparel, and food and beverage sectors.

Additionally, DINI provides strategic legal advisory services pertaining to all aspects of IP rights protection, reinforcing her reputation as a seasoned IP professional dedicated to safeguarding and optimizing her clients' intellectual property assets.

DINI has participated in numerous international workshops, seminars, and conferences focused on Intellectual Property Rights, spanning various locations worldwide.

Her attendance includes notable events such as the Symposium on Industrial Property Seminar in Strasbourg, France (1996), the WIPO National Seminar on the Patent Cooperation Treaty (1996), an Expert Course for IP Practitioners in Japan (2002), and the Law Enforcement and Dispute Resolution in IPR Field (2004). She also attended the Seminar on Law Enforcement of IPR organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in 2006, the WIPO Global Symposium in Geneva, Switzerland (2009), and the INTA Meeting in Hong Kong (2014), along with other IPR seminars in Indonesia.
